As the last finalist through the Subaru showroom in January, Joe Adlhoch was automatically given key number 8. All other finalists had drawn slips of paper for their keys. Joe signed in, took his key and mingled with the other finalists and his family. After the finalists lined up in order of key number, each finalist opened their envelope and took out their key. One by one they got in the Forester, put the key in the ignition and hoped that they would hear the engine turn over. Seven disappointed finalists went and it was down to three finalists. Joe got in the Forester, put his key in the ignition and don’t you know, the engine started! In Joe’s case, not having a choice in what key he received ended up being magic! Not only was Joe excited but his two driving age daughters were excited as well! Congratulations to Joe Adlhoch on winning a two year lease of a 2009 Subaru Forester! |
Throughout the annual campaign, the vehicle up for grabs is available for showcase at organizations that run a Workplace Giving campaign. This is an opportunity for potential finalists to give the vehicle a once over; familiarize themselves with locations of cup holders and power window buttons. All potential finalists must pledge a minimum of $156.00 and fill out a raffle ticket to qualify. Raffle tickets are available at United Way of Larimer County offices as well as from a company’s Coordinator of their Workplace Giving campaign.
