The Workplace Giving department at United Way of Larimer County hosted our annual Coordinator Kick Off at Cafe Columbine in Fort Collins. Attendees came from all over Larimer County and represented many industries. Guests were treated to a wonderful breakfast while they learned from each other about ideas for increasing employee participation within their businesses. Staff from United Way covered last year’s results including 2008 Award winners and special events. 2009 Campaign Co-chairs, Doug Johnson & Nick Christenson both spoke about their involvement with United Way and how important it is to the community that United Way partner with businesses to raise money. Comments from those in attendance were very positive and most agreed they were able to take away new ideas to help them with their own workplace campaigns.
