Sponsoring a United Way of Larimer County event is a win-win for organizations looking to enhance their image, increase sales and visibility, and double the impact of their charitable contribution.
United Way of Larimer County’s State of the Community event is one of the largest gatherings of people and organizations in Northern Colorado, bringing together hundreds of people from all spheres of our community including businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, government entities and community members to bring light to prevalent issues in Larimer County and to celebrate people making a difference.
With an average of nearly 900 people in attendance, the annual event celebrates the community’s dedication to tackling the issues that mean the most to us all. The annual event features a keynote address, highlights of United Way’s work and special recognition of influential individuals and organizations in the community.
United Way of Larimer County's Days of Service include National Volunteer Month (April), Make a Difference Day (October) and Family Volunteer Day (November).
Through these large-scale volunteer events, United Way of Larimer County mobilizes thousands of volunteers supporting dozens of nonprofit organizations through the community.
In partnership with the Fort Collins Coloradoan, United Way of Larimer County compiles, prints and distributes 20,000 copies of the Volunteer Resource Guide throughout the community, connecting citizens with hundreds of local nonprofit organizations.
