How Can You Get Involved?

You can be a member of WomenGive by donating $500 or more annually to the program. Pledges can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. For a single $500 membership, mothers may join with their daughters under 18-years-old. For membership questions, contact Amanda Giacalone, Leadership Giving Director, at 970.407.7013.

"With the help of the childcare scholarships I've received from WomenGive, I can focus on my studies. My son's happy, I'm happy. Once I get a college degree, I know my life will be better."

Hadley Iacovelli will be able to start nursing school sooner, thanks to a scholarship from WomenGive.

The 32-year-old single mom had been working to complete her degree in equine science at CSU, but due to child-care issues for her nearly 2-year-old daughter, she wasn't able to take more than nine credits at a time. When she got a scholarship to cover child care for Eleanor, she was able to focus on school, took 25 credits and got all A's and one B.

"My (grade point average) is higher than it has ever been, and I owe that to WomenGive," Iacovelli said. "I had time to focus on school."

Iacovelli will receive her diploma from Colorado State University today and plans to pursue her nursing degree at either the University of Wyoming or Regis University in Denver.
