Community Impact is about a taking a comprehensive approach to specifically identified problems in our community. Instead of putting band-aids on the problems, we are looking at long-term solutions and the root causes of these specific issues affecting our community.
These areas of focus were identified by a group of Larimer County volunteers. In 2007, a group of Larimer County volunteers they began spending hours researching issues and considering options before the group identified key areas to focus on in our community.
Community impact means improving lives by gathering community resources to create sustained changes in overall community conditions. Community impact is about reaching beyond funding and traditional partnerships. It's about engaging the entire community in tackling the root causes of health and human service issues. We must find a way to alleviate the problem of need in our community.
