United Way is focused on the bottom-line results: the lives we change and the communities we shape. We don’t just measure results by how much money we raise. We look at the overall impact on specific goals that we’ve targeted and the lives and communities we have improved.


Responding to Emergency and Basic Needs

  • 18,320 trips were provided to seniors and people with disabilities to access health care and other goods and services.
  • 68 children experiences reduced reoccurrence of abuse and neglect.
  • 61 homeless individuals created action plans to attain self-sufficiency.
  • 43 disaster victims had access to services within two hours of the disaster.

Providing Prevention Services

  • 51,747 Larimer County residents have an increased awareness of suicide and depression.
  • 991 children were able to get health insurance.
  • 607 clients gained control of their financial issues.
  • 29 low income women with identified risk factors accessed well-woman care and mammograms.

Supporting Vulnerable Populations

  • 1198 elderly residents were able to stay in safe independent environments because of the in-home nursing assistance provided by RVNA.
  • 253 Larimer County residents developed skills to help manage multiple sclerosis and gained strategies for improving their quality of life.
  • 50 children were placed in safe, nurturing foster homes.
  • 45 parents were able to return to work or school because respite care was available for their children with developmental disabilities.
