Helping individuals to live joyful, generous lives free from financial worry.
Helping to provide opportunities for individuals to live and give generously in their community.
Volunteerism is one of the core values in our business. By encouraging and providing opportunities to live joyfully and give generously within our communities, there is a true win-win: being able to help out those who are less fortunate while at the same time facilitating a volunteer’s desire to give back.
This was the 13th year for our Gift of a Green Christmas Tree project, which provides a fresh cut Christmas tree with all of the trimmings to families who otherwise would not be able to afford one. This year, we delivered 253 Christmas trees throughout Northern Colorado. This was our 5th year partnering with the Colorado State Forest Service to harvest the trees for a forest management project at the CSU Mountain Campus. The trees were delivered, along with a little Christmas cheer, by over 150 volunteers, working in teams on Saturday December 3rd, helping to brighten hundreds of individuals Christmas season.
In 2013 we partnered with the Food Bank of Larimer County and Redeemer Lutheran Church to build the 15,000 sq ft Community Garden at Redeemer. In 2015 we added a 46 tree apple orchard which will also benefit the Food Bank. Each growing season has had challenges, from weather, to pests and everything in between. Despite these challenges, in 2016 the garden donated almost 10,000 pounds of fresh produce to the Food Bank of Larimer County! What an amazing accomplishment!!!
The Communtiy Garden at Redeemer donated 9642 pounds of fresh produce to the Food Bank of Larimer County in 2016.
The 2nd annual NoCo Slammin’ Famine Event in February of 2016, saw over 2500 volunteers pack over 500,000 meals for starving children all over the world.
Colorado Business Reads book drive collected over 8000 children’s books to be distributed within local Colorado communities.
The Gift of a Green Christmas Tree project delivered 253 Christmas trees to local families in northern Colorado in need.
